Charlie Peterson

First Appearance: "Welcome to the Team"

Charlie is a 4-year-old, anthropomorphic Husky-Labrador mix dog that has the ability to speak, walk on his hind legs, and use his front legs as arms. Charlie’s hands are similar to those of a human’s, making it possible for him to hold objects and perform tasks that dogs normally can’t. He is rather soft-spoken, but enjoys spending time with his friends and family, and doing what he loves. He lives with his (extremely) dysfunctional family, the Petersons: Daniel, Jackie, Matthew, and Laura, in an urban area just outside of downtown. Charlie did attempt to go to school at one point, but was unable to finish and has yet to earn his degree. It is unclear if the staff at the hospital is aware of this (hence why he remains employed), but Anthony and his family members know about this and at times are not shy about reminding Charlie for his “failure.”

Anthony Vasquez

First Appearance: "Welcome to the Team"

Charlie’s best friend, Anthony is a sixteen-year-old prodigy who is overly smart, speaks an extensive vocabulary, and typically is using this to his advantage when around Charlie, sometimes making him feel foolish. He suffers from both vision loss and mental disorders, and can be very easy to agitate. He does not let his vision problems get in the way of being able to live a normal life, as he owns a drivers license and several vehicles. He primarily drives a white 2018 Ford Explorer (that eerily resembles an undercover police car), and also owns a dark green 2010 Ford Crown Victoria (that also looks like a police car). He is a native of Denver and graduated from the University of Colorado's School of Dental Medicine before moving to Rockport, about a year before meeting Charlie.
